The Snow Bunny Hat

I made this hat to sell in my pop's girlfriend's shop. A lady came in and loved the pattern but didn't like the color. You see, it didn't fit the color scheme of her skiing outfit, so she asked if I could just whip one up for her in charcoal. Ha, rich ladies and their outfit matching. Anyways, here is the pattern, enjoy:

SIZES
One Size Fits All

MATERIALS
One skein of any worsted weight yarn. I used something random with no tag from my stash, so whatever you like will work.

Gauge: 18 st x 32 rows is 4”

Pattern:

Double Rib:
*K2, P2 and repeat from *.

CO 84 stitches work in a double rib pattern for 8 rounds.

K 4 rows

P 1 row

K 3 rows

P 1 row

*K2tog, yo, repeat from * till end of row

K one row

*Yo, k2tog, repeat from * till end of row

K one row

Repeat last 4 rows 3 more times

P one row

K 3 rows

P one row

K 6 more rows and begin decrease to close up hat.

Round Decrease:

Row 1: K 10, K2tog
Row 2 and all other even rows: K
Row 3: K 9, K2tog
Row 5: K 8, K2tog
Row 7: K 7, K2tog
Row 9: K 6, K2tog
Row 11: K 5, K2tog
Row 13: K 4, K2tog
Row 15: K 3, K2tog
Row 17: K 2, K2tog
Row 19: K 1, K2tog
Row 21: K 2 tog

Cut 6 inches of yarn and with a yarn needle, pull the yarn through all the remaining loops, secure and weave in end.
